For this 50th anniversary party, we aimed to create an easygoing "come as you are" atmosphere at the clients' home, which they had built 35 years ago for their growing family. Their aesthetic was inspired by the year of their marriage (1974!), drawing on inspiration from album covers, concert posters, and their love of all things color and tie-dye.
It was a delight to curate little details that reflected their lives and loves: they wrote original tasting notes on a Chardonnay-only wine bar, we put together a New York Times-style crossword puzzle with family trivia, and in the tent where everyone danced the night away, we designed a gallery wall with photos through the years of their relationship, evoking their family home which is filled from floor to ceiling with generations of memories. A combination of vendors local to Missouri and partners from Chicago collaborated on this one-of-a-kind evening celebrating family, love, and legacy.
